BARRE BRIDGING
A new practice in the ‘BARRE GALLERY’, currently with a diverse selection of 16 challenging practices. This class has a slightly different flavour, as you spend it kneeling or lying down! Making it the perfect accompaniment to any of the barre practices, which are typically standing or inverted.
This 20min class is great for pelvic floor health, mobilising the spine & connecting with the back of the body, namely hamstrings! Can be practiced with the barre, wall, or sofa/chair. When the pelvis is elevated, with it’s relationship to gravity, there will be a heightened sensation of the pelvic floor, allowing you to feel the pelvic floor and the dialogue with your diaphragm and breath. This class would be very useful for early post-partum and pelvic floor rehabilitation & maintenance. I also love this class for building strength and connection with the back of the legs & seat!
