SPRUNG!

Traction in both directions! Fully sprung! Some of my favourite sling, apparatus & barre sequences; amalgamated. A heavier spring will create a strengthening element, as well as improve end range movement. You can adjust/modify the resistance/springs to create lots of variation, to support and challenge mobility; according to your fitness / rehabilitation goals.

PULLING

It’s a hamstring party! There is something very challenging about moving backwards, with a pulling action. Something we don’t generally do! Hence, a great way to challenge unfamiliar patterns in the body; by moving into the space you cannot see. Thus, a great way to define your back body and posterior chain, in a dynamic sense.

This is a sequence from the Garuda Apparatus Teacher Training, but here I’ve flipped it around - standing inside the reformer well, rather than outside. Check out Front Combo, for the pushing scenario. Both are helpful and valid variations!
